This was one of my favourite pieces of work produced by Sara De Bondt. Stripy t-shirt and poster print for the fantastic Manchester-based art band Die Kunst was produced in 2003. The beauty of this type lie in the order of the stripes, which are formed in such a way that when the image is scrolled down and up, the words 'Die Kunst' appear. i found this fascinating as it appeared almost as an optical illusion which the conscious mind does not see at first sight. This is interesting as it allows one to communicate in other methods which may not be expected or convention. I also view this typography as a taste of contemporary type and an understanding of the various medias which it can be formed from.
